Στις 16 Απριλίου στη Λεμεσό αναμένεται να γίνει ΧΑΜΟΣ. Προκειμένου λοιπόν να μην βρεθούμε εντελώς εξ απροόπτου και έχοντας ήδη τον λόγο των δύο εκ των τριών συγκροτημάτων που θα αναλάβουν να μετατρέψουν το Kingston Rock City σε κολαστήριο, Sonik Death Monkey (cy) και Psycho Choke (gr),ήρθε η σειρά να απευθυνθούμε στους εκ Γηραιάς Αλβιώνας μουσαφίρηδες μας,Plague Of Angels όπου απαντούν στο Rockoverdose.gr και κατ’επέκτασιν σε όλους μας.

-Welcome to Rockoverdose.gr
Can you please let us know who you are?
Dave : Good morning, I am Metal Dave of Plague Of Angels.
-Since it is a long trip from the UK to a small metal scene like the one in Cyprus ,I want to take the opportunity and ask how this came up for a new band without any material issued ?
Dave : Well, I’m glad you asked. I have been friends with Mario ‘il Diavolo’ Procopiou (Tragedy EnD Productions) for a fair few years and he has been trying to get me to come visit Cyprus since he heard my voice about 2 years ago in a previous band and when he heard Plague Of Angels he was like ‘’I am so sorting something out in Cyprus for you guys!’’. Thanks Mario!!!
-Have you ever been in Cyprus before?
Dave : I personally haven’t been to Cyprus before but our bassist Ben lived there for a while.
-How do you feel about sharing the stage with Psycho Choke and Sonik Death Monkey? Have you listened to any of their work?
Dave : We are actually really looking forward to playing with both of these bands. Οver the past week I’ve listened to nothing but both of these bands and watched their Youtube videos!
-Now,in relation with your band,when can we expect a demo/album out?
Dave : There has been talk of a split album with our friends Termination (myspace.com/terminationonline) but never the less we are definitely going into the studio when we get back from Cyprus to record our debut EP and we will be doing a mailing list in Cyprus for anyone who is interested!
-With what metal genre would you describe your music and what are the influences of this sound?
Dave : This is a difficult question as we don’t fit into any particular metal genre because we don’t give a flying f.ck about fitting in. We just play what we enjoy! But having said that if I had to give it a label it would be ‘’thrashyblackdeathtechyDOOMnoisecore’’! As for the influences well..I could probably run off a list as long as Cyprus (hahaha) but to narrow it down to the vitals Pantera, Iron Monkey, Suicide Silence, Lamb Of God, Veil Of Maya and Behemoth.
-Hmm .. something reached my ears of you being hard drinkers! What do you usually drink so we can stock up ?
Dave : (hahahahaha..) I wouldn’t say ‘hard drinkers’, we just like to party which generally involves drinking!! I believe the band favorites are beer, whisky & dark rum.
-Ok! Closing, can you send a message to Greek & Cypriot metalheads??
Dave : DON’T DO DRUGS, STAY IN SCHOOL..AND BRUTALITY WILL PREVAIL!
