Bellydance under METAL sounds!

Tsifteteli is an improvising dance at 2/4, which is very popular in Greece and in Balkans in general. When a woman dances tsifteteli “solo”, she usually does it on a table full of plates (so that she cannot move her legs but only her breast and hips) and the rest clap rhythmically for her.

The 19-year-old Foroogh Mahafsoun comes to change the way we see tsifteteli and proves that it could be easily accompanied by metal music. She also proves that it’s not necessary to dance tsifteteli on a table full of plates but it can be done in metal clubs as well.

In the following videos you can enjoy Foroogh, dancing tsifteteli with the music of Septic Flesh, Nightwish, Avenged Sevenfold, Opeth, Epica, Within Temptation, Evanescence, Rhapsody and many more.
