Friday, March 7th is a first-class opportunity to enjoy the Touché Amoré phenomenon that amazes crowds abroad and whose uniqueness will also surround the Greek audience for the first time, until next time!
Read our conversation with frontman Jeremy Bolm below and get to know the band with the elegant name, but the aggressive sound better.
TOUCHE AMORE w/ Psycorepaths @ Fuzz Club, ATHENS

RockOverdose: This will be your first time ever in front of the Greek audience. How do you feel and what took you so long to visit?
Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré):No idea, it's just never happened. Happy to finally come though!
RockOverdose: What do YOU expect from the Greek audience and of course what should WE expect from your upcoming appearance in Athens?
Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré): I really don't know what to expect to be honest but I hope it's mutually beneficial. It's a thrill to be 17 years deep into a "career" and be able to perform in places we haven't yet.
RockOverdose: If you could choose three songs/lyrics of yours to describe your music to those who are not familiar with the band, what would they be and why?
Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré): I would choose our songs "Come Heroine" "Hal Ashby" and the song "Is Survived By"
RockOverdose: Your recent album "Spiral In A Straight Line" came out some months ago. Are you satisfied by its reception so far and what about the reactions of the crowd during your recent live shows? Any special moments that surprised or touched you?
Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré): This tour has shown us that the album has connected more than we realized! Those songs is our set seem to have the biggest responses which feels amazing.
RockOverdose: Your name "Touché Amoré" sounds so romantic and elegant. However, your music style is totally aggressive but manages to touch and express plenty of feelings. Is this contrast intentional and what do you want to deliver by choosing to express yourselves this way?
Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré): I've never thought about it that way but I like the way you phrased it. I like that the name is a bit misleading to where you have no idea what kind of band it's going to be. I like to think we're somewhat hard to define even though I'm content with just being considered a punk or hardcore band.
RockOverdose: It seems that the hardcore scene is getting more and more popular again. Why do you think that's happening? Is it because people need to express their aggressiveness or is it just because it's over-saturated and much more accessible than in the past?
Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré):It's youth culture more than music these days. As long as people enjoy it thats all that really matters in the end.
Thank you very much for your time!
