NIGHTWISH: Headliners on Varna Mega Rock Festival in August, along with GLENN HUGHES

The Metal Mayor – Tsonko Tsonev, former Mayor of Kavarna, who has brought so many rock and metal icons like Dio, Slayer, Twisted Sister, Motorhead, ManOwaR, Helloween, Accept, Deep Purple, Doro, Sabaton, Gotthard, Europe, Krokus, Pretty Maids, Within Temptation, Kamelot, HammerFall, Paradise Lost, Sonata Arctica, Opeth, Moonspell, Arch Enemy, Accept, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Korpiklaani, Dream Theater, Scorpions, Blind Guardian, Motley Crue, Testament to Kavarna Rock Fest over the years, is now calling metal fans to his forthcoming Varna Mega Rock Festival that will take place on 18 and 19 August 2018 at Port of Varna, Bulgaria. The stage will be raised right next to the sea and the view will be stunning!

 

Glenn Hughes will headline the first festival night on August 18th and will deliver a 90-minute set of DEEP PURPLE music. NIGHTWISH will headline the second night and this will be their only show in South Eastern Europe for the season. One more band from the States and another one from Finland will be announced soon. The local bands in the festival line-up are BTR, Krossfire, Kikimora, Bendida and Konkurent.

 

Tickets for both festival days are available worldwide at https://www.eTicketsMall.com/ at the special price of BGN 70 (approx. EUR 35) until the end of the February. As of March 1st they will cost BGN 90 (approx. EUR 45) until July 18th and a month before the festival their price will be BGN 120 (approx. EUR 60). Tsonko Tsonev said that the space at Port Varna is limited, so it is highly recommended that fans book their tickets on time if they don’t want to risk missing this festival. Kids under 12 years of age will attend free of charge. Single-day tickets are not foreseen at this stage.
