Μένοντας πιστοί στο να μπορεί ο επισκέπτης να παρακολουθεί μια ολοκληρωμένη και καλλιτεχνικά πολυδιάστατη εμπειρία, το Rethymno Rocks παρουσιάζει την εικαστική έκθεση του Dehn Sora, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί με δωρεάν είσοδο τις ημέρες του φεστιβάλ, στο κτίριο του πυροβολικού, στο κάστρο της Φορτέτζας. Ο Γάλλος Dehn Sora (καλλιτεχνικό ψευδώνυμο του Vincent Petitjean) είναι γραφίστας, videographer, καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής πολλών μουσικών σχημάτων και projects και συνθέτης που χτίζει οπτικούς παραισθησιακούς, φανταστικούς κόσμους με έμφαση στη φθορα φύσης, σώματος και ψυχής και τις ψυχολογικές προεκτάσεις αυτών. Η παρουσία της φθοράς - τολμηρή, ατρόμητη, απόλυτα συναισθηματική - διαπερνά όλες τις δημιουργικές του προσπάθειες και καταλήγει να δίνει στις μορφές του ζωή και λύτρωση μέσα από την μεταμόρφωση σε κάτι μή ανθρώπινο ή φυσικό. Είναι ένας από τους πιο καταξιωμένους και πρωτοπόρους καλλιτέχνες στο χώρο όχι μόνο της σχεδίασης εξωφύλλων, αλλά και σε παράλληλες δημιουργικές εκφράσεις που αφορούν την avant-garde και την extreme αισθητική. Είτε στην καλλιτεχνική επιμέλεια ή την καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση, είτε ακόμα τη δημιουργία μουσικής, καταφέρνει και αφήνει ένα ιδιαίτερο και αναγνωρίσιμο στίγμα, ένα ολοκληρωμένο όραμα, που ταυτόχρονα μπορεί να εκπλήξει, να τρομάξει και να επεκτείνει την σκέψη και τη γνώση αυτού που έρχεται σε επαφή με το έργο του. Οι εκθεσεις του καλλιτέχνη πολλές ανα τον κόσμο, η παρουσίες του σε μουσικα φεστιβάλ ως επίτιμος εκθέτης, αναρίθμητες. Γνωστός ως σημαντικό μέλος της κολεκτίβας Church of Ra, καθώς και έχοντας δημιουργήσει έργα τέχνης για τους Blut Aus Nord, Amenra, Secrets of the Moon, Deathspell Omega, Sylvaine, Imperial Triumphant, Elend, Code, Red Harvest και δεκάδες άλλους, ο Dehn Sora είναι ένας από τους πιο επιδραστικούς και αναγνωρισμένους καλλιτέχνες της εποχής μας. Η έκθεση του θα ξεκινήσει στις 25 Αυγούστου και θα είναι ανοιχτή μέχρι και μία μέρα μετά το πέρας του φεστιβάλ (έως και 31 Αυγούστου). Κατα τη διάρκειά της θα μπορείτε να θαυμάσετε το έργο του, να αγοράσετε τα prints του αλλά και να έχετε την ευκαιρία να μιλήσετε μαζί του, καθώς είναι από τους καλεσμένους του φεστιβάλ με το Αmbient project του Treha Sektori, οι οποίοι θα μοιραστούν τη σκηνή με τους επίσης ταλαντούχους και ιδιαίτερους Anglachel και iNsCissorS, στην έξτρα ημέρα του φεστιβάλ (Τετάρτη 27 Αυγούστου), επίσης με δωρεάν είσοδο.

Always faithful to offering the attendees a full artistically multidimensional experience, Rethymno Rocks presents the art exhibition by the French artist Dehn Sora, which will be held with free admission during the festival days at the artillery building, in the Fortezza Castle. Dehn Sora (artistic pseudonym of Vincent Petitjean) is a graphic designer, videographer, artistic director of many musical groups and projects and a composer who "builds" visual, hallucinatory, imaginary worlds with emphasis on the decay of nature, body and soul and their psychological extensions. The presence of decay - bold, fearless, absolutely emotional - permeates all his creative efforts and ends up giving his forms life and redemption through the transformation into something non-human or natural. He is one of the most renowned and pioneering artists in the field of cover design, but also in parallel creative expressions that involve avant-garde and extreme aesthetics. Whether in artistic editing or artistic direction, or even in the creation of music, he manages to leave a special and recognizable mark, a complete vision, which can simultaneously surprise, frighten and expand the thinking process of those who come into contact with his work. The artist's standalone exhibitions and guest appearances at music festivals as an honorary exhibitor are numerous around the world. Known as a celebrated member of the Church of Ra collective, as well as having created artwork for Blut Aus Nord, Amenra, Secrets of the Moon, Deathspell Omega, Sylvaine, Imperial Triumphant, Elend, Code, Red Harvest and many others, Dehn Sora is one of the most influential and acknowledged artists of our time. His exhibition will start on August 25th and will be open until August 31st. During its duration you will be able to admire his work, buy his prints but also have the opportunity have a chat with him, as he will be present as a guest of the festival with his Ambient project Treha Sektori, who will share the stage with the equally talented Anglachel and iNsCissorS, on the first day of the festival (Wednesday August 27th), also with free admission.
