Οι γερόλυκοι Sacred Reich είναι ίσως το σημαντικότερο Thrash metal σχήμα που έβγαλε η πολιτεία της Αριζόνα, αποτελώντας αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι του αμερικανικού Thrash κινήματος των 80s και 90s. Η μεγάλη επιτυχία των εμβληματικών πρώτων άλμπουμ τους “Ignorance” & “The American Way” και του θρυλικού EP “Surf Nicaragua” οδήγησαν τη μπάντα των Phil Rind και Wiley Arnett από νωρίς στο international σανίδι πλάι σε μεγαθήρια της τότε και μετέπειτα εποχής. Ο στίχος των Sacred Reich ήταν πάντα καυστικός, αλληγορικός και με μαύρο χιούμορ, με έντονο κοινωνικό χρωματισμό, άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένος με τις μελανές στιγμές της παγκόσμιας ιστορίας, τις κοινωνικές ανισότητες και τα δεινά του πολέμου. Εν έτει 2026 και αρκετά χρόνια μετά το “Awakening” του 2019, το old school Thrash των Sacred Reich είναι ακόμα φρέσκο, σύγχρονο και βροντοφωνάζει μηνύματα που είναι πιο επίκαιρα από ποτέ. Χαίροντας μεγάλης εκτίμησης από το ελληνικό κοινό εδώ και δεκαετίες, οι Αμερικανοί masters υπόσχονται μια εκρηκτική, ασυμβίβαστη και επιβλητική εμφάνιση στο φετινό φεστιβάλ. Veteran Thrashers Sacred Reich are perhaps the most important band to emerge from the scene of Arizona, constituting an integral part of the American Thrash movement of the 80s and 90s. After marking a huge success with their iconic albums “Ignorance” & “The American Way” and the legendary “Surf Nicaragua” EP, Phil Rind, Wiley Arnett and the Reich were catapulted onto the big international stages, alongside giants of the era for years to come. Sacred Reich's lyrics have always been sharp and piercing, allegorical, darkly humorous, with a strong social undertone, inextricably linked to the bleak moments of world history, social inequalities and the suffering of war.
