Destruction are among the kings of German thrash metal. Zisis Petkanas of Greece's Rock Overdose conducted an interview with the singer/ bassist of the band, Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer. He, one of the founding members of Destruction, reveals how he got fired from the band but still came back after 10 years, details about their new album "Spiritual Genocide" which will feature a horror-movie-style videoclip, artists and bands he would like to collaborate with and also why Destruction are absent from the Greek stages the last 5 years.
