Rock Overdose, had the honor to speak with Max Cavalera ( Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Killed Or Be Killed ). Max said that he has a lot of plans for the future, he is going to create a new Soulfly album, because next year is the 20th anniversary for the band, so he wants to celebrate with a new album this special occasion!
He also said, that he wants to perform live the album “Arise” the same way he did with “Roots”. “Arise is one of the most important albums in thrash metal, for me is excellent from start to end!
"I would love to play it live with my brother sometime in the future! The fans will gonna love it, they want to see the Cavalera brothers perform together and play Sepultura songs. I have many plans on my mind, I’m writing like a maniac all the time, I’m gonna write the new Soulfly album and we’re gonna create a new Killed Or Be Killed album , I’m exciting to write music, so I’m very busy! In January I will start to write the new Soulfly album which will be the more extreme Soulfly album ever. I have a lot of influences from bands I heard recently, like Infernal War, Batushka so I will put my influences and my energy to the new album! I can’t wait to see and meet my fans in Greece and I will certainly visit places because I love Greece. Also, next year I will come to Greece to a friend and I will stay to write some music, I love Septic Flesh and Rotting Christ and in the new Soulfly album you will hear some influences by them!"
